Even though I had to travel from South Carolina, I knew from the first visit that I would choose him for my physician. He was thorough, knowledgeable, respectful, caring - there are not enough adjectives to describe him. He even gave me his cell phone number to call him with an questions or problems 24-7. What physician does that today? He then made phone calls and found me a physician who would follow-up on me so that I would not have to make the trip back to Louisville. I only wish that I lived closer so that it would be easier to follow-up with him. Also, his whole team of staff and assistants was excellent and caring - shoutout to Ashley. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Boakye to anyone needing an opinion or surgery. Thanks again.

Up until I met him I had lost all faith in neurosurgeons. This man has restored my faith. He did an excellent job on my friends cervical spine injury from a car accident. He was VERY humble which is something I've never seen in a neurosurgeon!It was a very complicated surgery, he and his staff provided the most excellent care. His nurses genuinely care. I trust him so much I am sending my son to see him he was also in the accident now has a slipped disc I will trust what he says which says a lot
